India Salvy Guide is a French visual artist born and raised in Paris. Self-taught, she never formally studied photography but developed her visual language through years spent working in cinema, fashion, and the arts.
Her work explores the tension between structure and emotion, precision and instinct. Drawn to lines, textures, and reflections, she uses the urban landscape as a canvas — a place where geometry and light meet the human presence. Through tight framing and a poetic sense of composition, her images reveal fragments of cities, movements, and silence, often punctuated by mirrors or subtle dissonances.
Her photography focuses on the beauty of the in-between — what lies between order and chaos, clarity and mystery. Based between Paris and Tangier, she continues to explore light as a language and the act of looking as a form of escape.
